A tribute from a granddaughter...

Grandpa was an amazing man. He lived for 103 years independent to the end. He had a very sharp sense of humor, and a sharp tongue when needed. This granddaughter will never forget the last lashing she received after trying to find his birth family. Yet, she'll also never forget the last hug and "I love you" she heard from him. He was generous with his love and loved all his grandkids and great-grandkids and even great-greatgrandkids equally along with his beloved Cat. We'll never forget Grandpa and will always remember fondly so many stories. We'll post such stories here along with things we know about his growing up years. This granddaughter was able to talk to Grandpa in length one day and get details never heard. I'll post that soon. Do you have a story to include?
